"WE REMEMBER" SHOWING AT SOLOMON VICTORY THEATER

Today, "We Remember" was shown at the National WWII Museum's Solomon Victory Theater at 6:00pm. Present at the showing were interviewers Victoria Hirsch and Cory Garfunkel who gave opening statements before the film and a questions and answers session after. Present in the audience was interviewee James Philpot and producers Gary Scovil, Kimberly Zimmerman, and Stanley Zimmerman. It was a great honor. A big thank you to everyone that attended, we hope you all enjoyed it!

ON THE SET OF "HAYRIDE 2"

Throughout March and April, Scovil Productions worked on the upcoming sequel "Hayride 2" in Mobile. Scovil Productions is doing all audio recording work for this film; Scovil Productions also did audio work on the last few days of shooting for the first movie, "Hayride".

A showing of We Remember was held at the Fairhope Public Library on April 5th. Don Berry, Ph.D. was present to give an opening statement before the film. Afterwards was a questions and answers session with interviewees James Philpot (aided in the liberation of Dachau) and Agnes Tennenbaum (survivor of Auschwitz).
"NATURE'S PLAYGROUND" DEDICATION CEREMONY
March 22nd, 2013
March 22nd was the dedication ceremony of artist Dean Mosher's fantastic sculpture "Nature's Playground" in Gautier, Mississippi. Speakers at the event included Gautier mayor Tommy Fortenberry, Sonny Thomas and Lee Youngblood of the Mississippi Development Authority, Dean Mosher, and welder Billy Bray.
McGUIRE'S PIPE BAND AT MOSHER CASTLE

The night of KOER Mardi Gras parade in downtown Fairhope Alabama, McGuire's Pipe Band performed for friends and family at Mosher Castle before and after marching in the parade. SCOVIL PRODUCTIONS attended to record the event.

"NATURE'S PLAYGROUND
August 10th, 2012
Back in 2011, artist Dean Mosher came to Scovil Productions about the prospect of documenting his next big project: "Nature's Playground", a stunning 42-foot-high steel structure which will feature wildlife native to the Gulf Coast region — an alligator, turtles, a great blue heron, fish and a crab. The sculpture was commissioned by the City of Gauthier, Mississippi to be installed at the entrance to the city's Town Center revitalization. The sculpture is expected to be completed by summer of 2013 and the documentary will follow.
SCOVIL PRODUCTIONS GOES TO HONDURAS
June-July, 2012
In the summer of 2012, Scovil Productions went to Honduras with Magnolialand Entertainment to document a project by the Calera High School pre-engineering students. In their shop, the students built a basic utility vehicle (or BUV for short). The students brought these vehicles to Honduras to use to help plow land for crops and drill wells for water for a village in need out in the jungle. The documentary, Children Changing the World, is currently in the post-production editing stage.
WILBUR WRIGHT MEMORIAL EVENTS
May 31st & June 1st, 2012
On Friday, June 1, 2012, a special ceremony marking the centennial of Wilbur Wright’s passing was held at the Wright family burial plot in Historic Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio. Artist Dean Mosher was a special guest of the Wright family. Speakers included Neil Armstrong in one of his last public appearances; Amanda Wright Lane, great-grandniece of the Wright brothers; Rick Young, eminent Wright historian, and Stephen Wright, great-grandnephew of the Wright brothers. Several hundred spectators attended the thoughtful, uplifting event. Gary Scovil of SCOVIL PRODUCTIONS attended and recorded the event.

'THE UTOPIAN FAIRHOPE' PREMIERE

Our documentary we co-produced with Featherhead Productions The Utopian Fairhope premiered at the University of South Alabama's Fairhope campus in April, 2010. It was a wonderful event, many local authors and artists attended.

LARRY CORYELL CONCERT AT THE PEQUOT LIBRARY

Gary Scovil attended a Larry Coryell concert at the Pequot Library in Southport, Connecticut. Gary recorded an album with Larry in the early 1980s. It had been over 25 years since they had last seen each other and it was a pleasant reunion.
